Up until to this point in time, philosophers have tried to explain the world and revolutionaries have tried to change it. But the real task is to rebalance, revivify, and re-grace it. Great religions and the noblest spirits such as Lao Tzu, Confucius, Buddha, Seneca, Erasmus, and Kant dealt with the impurities of the human heart and the unpleasantries of the human condition in the context of a safe, clean, and unfilled world. The task of our generation is to heal humanity swiftly enough to protect our precious planet from irreparable harm. Therefore let's begin building a civilization of decency and love. The first task is to create an infrastructure of lasting peace; a good energy economy and equitable institutions. Let's begin with energy, healthcare, and gender reconciliation, within and without ourselves.
